1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ryzo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Ryzo is an AI-powered personal performance and mental wellness application. It provides tools for:
- Daily mood, energy, and stress check-ins
- Sleep, water, workout, and nutrition tracking
- AI coaching conversations (powered by OpenAI)
- Weekly Performance Score™ — a personalised engagement metric
- Habit tracking, goal setting, and gamification (XP, streaks, badges)
- Journal, micro-journal, mindset assessment, and AI insights
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- Users aged 13–17 should have parental or guardian consent.
- By using the App, you confirm you meet these requirements.
4. Account & Authentication
- You can create an account with email/password. Google Sign-In will be available soon.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your account with others.
- You must provide accurate information when registering.

6. User Responsibilities
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse-engineer, hack, or abuse the AI system
- Share your account credentials with others
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful content to the AI
- Use the App as a substitute for emergency mental health services
- Attempt to extract, scrape, or misuse AI-generated content at scale
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
AI responses in Ryzo are for motivational and educational purposes only. They:
- Are NOT medical or psychological advice
- May not always be accurate or appropriate for your situation
- Should not replace consultation with a licensed professional
- Are generated by OpenAI (GPT models) — subject to OpenAI's usage policies
The Weekly Performance Score™ is calculated from user-entered data (check-ins, sleep, workouts, streak). It is an engagement and habit-tracking metric — not a clinical score.
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of Ryzo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Key points:
- Wellness data is stored locally on device and/or on Supabase (EU servers)
- We never sell your personal data
- You can export or delete your data at any time
- GDPR rights apply — see Privacy Policy Section 9
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, branding, and the "Weekly Performance Score™" concept of Ryzo are owned by the Ryzo developer. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
You retain ownership of personal content you create (journal entries, notes, goals). By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the service.
10. Shareable Content
When you use the "Share Weekly Score" feature, you share a text-based summary containing your performance score, grade, week label, and app link. You agree that:
- Shared content is generated by the App and does not contain sensitive personal data
- You take responsibility for where and how you share this content
- Ryzo is not responsible for how third-party platforms handle shared content
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ryzo is not liable for:
- Any mental health outcomes resulting from use of the App
- Decisions made based on AI coaching or performance scores
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Service interruptions or data loss
12. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. OTA (Over-The-Air) updates may be delivered automatically to fix bugs or improve performance.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time:

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction where Ryzo operates, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
